Singapore2015

This time, as usual, we planned to land in Singapore and to be there only long enough to turn around and fly off to Cebu, Philippines, to do some teaching in the International School Of Missions there.

But Ruth’s shoulder had been bothering her since August, and only had gotten worse, so that something had to be done.  Immediately upon arriving in Singapore she went to see a doctor who diagnosed her as having frozen shoulder, which led, the very next day, to an operating room.  Thankfully, the shoulder, which she could almost not move at all, is on the mend, now.

Back in Singapore for three weeks after the time in Philippines, and Stephen was invited to speak over a dozen times, including seven times on Sundays.  Ruth, however, unexpectedly needed to see the doctors  for another problem, which led to another trip into an operating room.  What weighed on our minds the most during these days was waiting for a biopsy result which finally came on December 23rd—no cancer detected!  Our Lord Jesus is fully in control of every circumstance at every moment, no less when we are afraid for the future.  Now we feel relieved, of course, and glad that we may be able to fulfill our previous ambitions for ministry in India and in other places the Lord would be pleased to allow us to go with His Gospel.
